AJ’s Walleye Lodge on the North Shore of Lake Gogebic has expanded and opened a new Bar & Grille on the North Shore of Lake Gogebic this past summer. We know that we are headed in a busy winter season and we recognize that we can only be as good as the Team that supports us!

The Guest Services Manager will be responsible for managing key customer impact areas. The Guest Services Manager responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Ultimately, this position will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests. The Guest Services Manager will perform all duties within the guidelines of the AJ’s policies and procedures. $10-14/hour (commensurate with experience)

The Lead Cook is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to strict food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. In addition, the Lead Cook will be responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the culinary operation during their designated shift. The Lead Cook will help create menus and make inventory suggestions, as well as staffing suggestions, training and mentoring of the kitchen staff. Starts at $14 hour (commensurate with experience)

As a member of the Food & Beverage Team, your role will be to prepare high-quality pizzas, sandwiches, salads and other menu items according to customers’ orders. The Cook/Pizza Maker’s responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, cutting, grating, or slicing various ingredients to be used as toppings, and removing pizza debris from the pizza ovens. To be successful as a Cook/Pizza Maker, position requires that kitchen safety/cleanliness protocol is properly followed. Starts $12 hour (commensurate with experience)

As a member of the Food & Beverage Team, your role will be to prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages (including garnishes for mixed drinks) for bar and restaurant patrons. In addition, the Bartender will interact with bar customers to take and serve food and beverage orders and prepare and deliver drinks to bar patrons or to Team Members in the restaurant. Property Operations/General Labor:
