Lake Gogebic is treating our anglers to some good fishing. We’ve seen a good number and more keeper size walleye which have been found in a variety of locations, including deep, shallow or anywhere in between. (Keep that in mind and don’t stick to one depth range). Crawlers are working in 20-25ft and leeches in 8-15 ft. Small Mouth are really hitting on the leaches and minnows and walleye have been hitting well on sucker minnows. If you’re out in the morning, check the areas where deep water meets the shallow spots, as the day progresses start heading deeper, as walleye can be photosensitive. Don’t forget to try your luck during the nighttime hours! Cooler temps can be very productive during our fall, especially along rock points and flat areas. Weather forecast for next week looks nice for some good fall fishing! Good luck and good fishing!
