Michigan snowmobile trails open today! Groomers are out, and caution is highly recommended as they need some time to get the trails in shape. Some wet areas reported. We received about 2-3″ of snow cover last night with additional snow flurries developing around noon. Temperatures reaching the upper single digits, and warming throughout the week. No ice travel recommended at this time. Trail map bandannas available at local Lake Gogebic area businesses, and trail maps can also be downloaded from www.walleyelodge.com.
